Frist things frist i have no real knowledge of computer components ive read many reviews of the CPU, GPU ect. All seems well but will this machine be worth the money ? Note i would like to play most games out at the moment on high settings without dropping past 30fps
Some of these include:
BF3
Red Orchestra 2
GTA 4
Arma 2
Crysis 2

How will it perform with today's games ?.

Second is about HDMI do i just simply conecct the pc to my TV to monitor via hdmi cable or will it be more complicated than that ?.

Last thing is i work from 7:30am to 1:00pm, Is it possible that if i am not in when it arrives to leave it with my neighbours if they have my permession to sign for the goods or will i have to personally sign for it ?.

Thanks

Nick.

Hi Nick,

Your spec above should deliver 30+ FPS with all of the games youve listed in 1080p maxed out, no problem.

Connecting your TV to your GPU via HDMI SHOULD be no m ore complicated than that, but you may need to change a few settings on your TV itself or enter your TV specifications into your nvidia control panel, such as its panel frequency and resolution.

You would need to give express permission for this to occur to PCS when you make the order so that your neighbour can sign for it on your behalf. You can however opt for a Saturday delivery at the additional cost of £19.

Hope that helps

Make sure you connect the cable to the GPU not the mobo when you're hooking it up to your tele.

I'd go for the i5- 3550 CPU. The latest Ivy bridge stuff is 10% better than the 2500. (should have said according to some reviewers)

Dangro may be right about the Delivery. I was always sure only the recipient could sign for it, not neighbours. You may be able to ring up PCS and ask them to get DPD to deliver after 1pm. Shouldn't be too difficult :)

yes looks like a great build & will play anything maxed out (if your only after 30fps that is , as you have stated)

you shouldnt have to much trouble connecting to your tv , i have mine connected to my sony bravia 56" tv - the only issue you might encounter is the taskbar could be off the screen , but dont fear , on your tv just make sure you have it set to widescreen size & somewhere in the tv options there will be a display area or "full pixel option" , if full pixel option is there select it - if you have a display area option as i do you can adjust it up & down & it will zoom it in & out to fit the screen perfectly.

( you can also sort it out in the gpu drivers options as well , but you shouldnt need to do this with nvidia only with radeon sometimes )

hope you enjoy your build

The system will arrive fully setup up, as it will be stress tested to ensure stability before it is shipped :]

The drivers will already have been installed as mentioned. When you first start up,you may see a few welcome screens which will ask you to name your profile or user account & also If you want to install windows updates automatically.
You will also need to enter your Product key to activate, this will be on a sticker on the back of the case,so make sure you take a note of it in case it's awkward to access once you are set up.
