I am a bit dim sometimes,

i take it none of the laptops sold here have backlit keyboards?

ive spent a week specking up my laptop with lovely juicy parts but alas, no backlit keyboard = no sale. Damn, will have to go buy a overpriced asus or worse a alienware! mind you, the asus G74sx looks ok but overpriced i recon.

Apparently the new Vortex III will have a backlit keyboard and is about a month away from being available for purchase.

Edit: My bad, the Skyfire II laptop wont have a backlit keyboard. I was thinking of the Clevo P270WM (currently unnamed by PCS), sorry!

The Skyfire II laptop will have a purty backlit keyboard too and that's about a month or so away as well!

Ive already ordered my skyfire would i be able to upgrade?

SkiFire will NOT have a backlit keyboard and does not support one.

Vortex III will have a backlit keyboard.
