acer swift3/970evo plus ssd installation

i am trying to upgrade to a 1tb evo ssd drive
i cant do a fresh win 10 install unless i install the ssd driver first
the only driver install i can find comes as an 'exe' installer package
which will only run from windows..so ive got a catch22 situation
can anybody help

When I upgraded to a SSD I just used my Macrium USB boot drive to boot the laptop & restored the latest image to it. No SSD driver was asked for or seemed to be needed.
You can also clone the old drive to the new one using the same program.
