I want a laptop. All it needs to do is connect via hdmi to a new Samsung TV. The TV is capable of a great picture so I'm wondering what sort of video card is needed. All I'll be doing is watching things like NFL network streamed from the internet. Gaming is not an issue here but is an option. It would need wireless connection to as well as the hdmi port from the video card (I think that's right isn't it). A good disc player would be nice too. Big storage isn't a necessity.
Any advice on builds?
ps, I know the TV has internet capability but it needs some software to play some video content on the net which the TV will not accept. I got chromecast but this can be patchy and the apps are hit and miss with content and functionality.
