Advice on build for 2D/3D modeling/rendering - what have I got wrong?

Hi I am doing my first build of a desktop for work and any advice would be great.
I use Optitex which develops garment patterns in 2D and allows you to see and fit the final product on a 3D avatar, the 3D rendering is via GPU.
I used a pre done rtx studio build as my starting point and the rest is based on whats in stock, what I could save as a quote and what I need right now but I want the room to later upgrade to 2 higher 30 series to do photorealistic rendering, I currently only need to do open/GL rendering which has much lower requirements. For now the graphics card could be lower but I could only save the quote with a 3060 as the 2060 is out of stock.
The software company only specify Intel CPus and apparently thats all they have tested on so I have done 2 builds - the AMD one I want (based on everything I've read on the subject) and the Intel one my buisness partner wants.

Hi I have read this and other posts on the forum which is why I was looking at AMD. My buisness partner knows whats being recommended but would prefer to stick with Intel as thats what this software was developed and tested with.

It's Optitex which does indeed only reference Intel CPU's in it's requirements so definitely safest to stay with intel in this instance:

Some additional points.

If you wanted a true SLI multi GPU setup, the only GPU that now supports it with NVLink (the new term for SLI bridge) is the 3090. If you were to spec 2 x 3090's you'd need a 1600W PSU, which obviously pushes the price up significantly.

It may be worth considering a professional NVidia GPU such as the Quaddro RTX6000 which are shown as supported on the optitex site, but they too are very expensive.

It's something you're going to have to consider.

At this level of build and use case also, I would personally suggest the ProArt motherboard, this is exactly the kind of heavy usage it's designed for, but again, significant budget upgrade required.

Just some points to highlight.
