Is this good value for money or can I swap some things out for better performance whilst not really increasing the price?

Will be used mainly for gaming - more demanding on processor than graphic card type games like Football Manager etc..

Thanks,

If it is for games like football manager it seems overkill. An i5 would be more than enough and you can get a cheaper gpu like the gtx 960. 8gb ram should be plenty for now and a cheaper CPU cooler

Thank you, is there much difference between the 2GB and the 4GB 960?

I have a PC specialist laptop already with an i7 3630QM which doesn't have 'enough' for me when playing the games e.g. leagues and players loaded. Are the i5's on offer a large improvement on that?

I assume the reason is struggling is due to the gpu not the CPU. A desktop i5 is better than a mobile i7

There is no problem with the graphics, hence why I thought it would be a processor bottleneck. I see with the difference between the laptop and desktop, makes sense when I think about it.

Is everything else looking ok? It would be run from the box into the TV or another screen with no need for SLI, dual monitors etc...

I've updated the quote but kept the i7.

What gpu do you have in your laptop? The case is not suitable for a gaming rig, you may want to spend a bit more on it. The 450w psu will limit you with future upgrades (e.g a better gpu) and here is no need to get additional chassis fans as long as you have a decent case

GPU is Geforce GTX 660M

Updated the PSU to Corsair 550W and changed case to ALPHA TRION 7622B BLACK CASE

I've pretty much settled on spec now, is there any problems with the case and should I just stick with the Titan cooler rather than the one I've chosen?

Please advise before I order
