Monitor is 1080p 144hz
Gaming, games like valorant, rust, nothing too crazy
would prefer to future proof a bit, budget is 1400€ max willing to spend a bit more if worth it
Any help and advice is greatly appreciated

Heya! Honestly, nothing I'd massively want to change here! I'd personally I'd go for a 1TB SSD instead of a 500GB SSD and 2TB HDD, unless you have a requirement to store a large amount of files. I'd also spend the few euros extra on an ATX motherboard, I find mATX motherboards in ATX cases to look rather weird. And maybe go for the FF100 RGB? It's all the 12100 would require and gives you a bit of RGB for those extra FPS ;)

Oh, If you're able to spare another 100 EUR it would be worth considering the 12400F especially considering how CPU demanding these FPS games are, but if not, no worries, the 12100 is actually a little pocket rocket
