Advice on storage SSD HDD

Hi all

New to this forum and currently have on order from PCS a laptop for mix of home work and moderate gaming (Defiance RTX)

Gaming is FPS things like CS:GO, CoD and stuff like World of Tanks...

Intel Core i7 8750H
16Gb RAM 2666Mhz
NVIDIA Geforce RTX2080

Question I have is related to storage specs: I am currently thinking of 512Gb SSD and a 1Tb HDD

I cant see this being an issue - but I have seen a few comments about the size of the SSD and wondering if a 1Tb SDD would be worth getting?

It depends on how many games (or other programs, and/or large project files depending on your work) you intend to keep on there at the same time, and how much the cost is an issue.

It's very easy to swap games between drives if you prefer to save the cash. You can just move less frequently played games to the HDD, and move them back to the SSD when they are flavour of the month again, with little more than a few mouse clicks.

What SSD are you going for out of interest?
