AIO Cooling Issue

Hi.

My PCSpecialist build has a CoolerMaster AIO liquid cooler. Recently, my CPU temperatures would idle at 60 degrees and the fan would be loud/aggressive from boot. This happened suddenly. After advise from PCSpecialist, I reseated the cooler and renewed the thermal paste which seems to have worked, but I noticed the AIO is plugged into the SYS_FAN header on the gigabit Aorus motherboard. There is something plugged into the CPU_FAN header - probably a case fan? Should I be concerned these seem to be set the wrong way around? Why would they have built it like this?

Kind regards,

It would help if you posted the FULL spec from the original order (include everything please, not just what you think is important). :)

@thomaswilliams863, can you confirm for sure that the cable connected to the CPU fan socket isn't one that is linked to your AIO and what fan (or other component) it actually is.

Generally the AIO's are connected to the CPU fan pin-out so it could simply be an error in your case.

EDIT: Looking at the manual for the Masterliquid Lite 240 - there are two fan header connections - appears that one goes directly to the pump unit and one goes to the fans themselves...
