Hi All,
Just a quick heads up what with the new 7970m Laptop graphics cards being shipped, if you think you have a faulty card, chances are that you dont, because of the super duper non release of proper drivers from AMD, all laptop chassis manufacturers basically had to make their own - Including Clevo, the supplier of the Vortex chassis we use.
The problem has been seen where the clocks on some programs - such as 3D Mark 11 - are not switching to 3d clocks - Please note this is not an error it is just simply bad drivers not fully supporting the "Enduro" feature of the card (AMDs equivalent of the Optimus)
The new drivers will be released by AMD very soon, they are working on them, so if you are seeing small glitches, please be patient it will be solved shortly when the official drivers are out.
Here is a cracking forum with up to date information which will help if you fancy it - as you can see I have linked to the problem!

SO, in essencem "keep calm and carry on"
***QUICK EDIT*** - This problem is more apparant if you have installed the drivers wrong
