Thought I'd let you boys and girls know that 'MAVIS' has arrived.

Very pleasent lady driver dropped it off about 30 mins ago.

All in all. I'm well impressed. Build quality is top-notch and she even smells nice.

My only gripe is this. After having a good nose around, I noticed a little black wire not quite going in to the pcie power coupler. Have a look and tell me if I can easily push it back in from where it came.

I'm pretty sure I can do it and confident where exactly it originally came from.

As far as I know the black cable is the ground, and the yellow one is +12V current. So you should be OK plugin it into the card and it all should work fine (obviously make sure that loose cable is not touching anything else in your case). However, this needs replacing ASAP anyway.

If your PSU is modular you should be able to just swap cables for a good one, or you can just get Molex to PCI Power cable converter for like little money.

I suspect it's not a modular PSU, but it should have 2 pairs of PCI power cables - for SLI or Crossfire, in which case I would unplug those PCI cables and use the other pair.
