hey

Thought I'd better post here as my first post on another area of the forum was not allowed by a mod for some reason and I can only think it is because I have not posted here first.

Happy days......

Hoping to buy a laptop in the next couple of days

in a bit

(edit) seems due to me posting a link

forums like these amuse me.

I was always told if you have nothing worth while saying then say nothing at all, but some admins seem intent in forcing you to make unneeded posts for some weird reason

Hi and welcome to the forums :)

And yes, your post would've got moderated cos it had a link in it, after a certain amount of posts (though I'm not sure of the numbers) you should be able to post links without too many problems - when they get moderated you just have to be patient til a moderator can approve it.
Though do try and keep to the point of threads if you are joining them, makes it easier for the original poster to get his/her question answered.

My apologies.

the person I thought was asking about the high gamut screens and I was only trying to share other knowledge I had came across during my investigation as to whether this may be a suitable upgrade to my soon to be ordered laptop also.
The link I gave led to a post on a notebook review forum entitled Why high gamut screens are NOT suited to gamers. In reading this entire thread I am now able to make a more informed choice for my purchase and thought it may have helped in his/her decision.

I approved that thread with the link in it (though not til I got to it this morning, often threads getting moderated overnight will not get approved til the following morning if all the moderators are asleep)- it seemed vaguely relevant.

My comment about trying to stick to the point was just a general comment after your comment about unnecessary posts being moderated - wasn't actually directed at any of your posts
