As I said in another post, we have a large metal beam running between the second AP and my computer, despite them being only 7 or so metres away, if so much as a chair comes between them, ping rockets.

So, I want to get one of these:

http://www.edimax.com/en/produce_detail.php?pd_id=130&pl1_id=1&pl2_id=8

HOWEVER, on the website for my WLAN card, it says supports "EA-MAS", but there is no such thing, just this EA-MARS, typo?

Secondly, this has 3 cables, my wlan card only has 2 outputs, would this work and which of the 3 cables would I not connect?

I guess this device is mainly for this card:

Hmm, any thoughts?

The card you have is a 1T2R (1 x transmit, 2 x receive) and therefore you have two aerials. Other cards can have 2T3R. If you purchase a relocator, simply connect two of the cables, you will need to work out which wire connects to which aerial.

At a guess I would assume that Edimax will number the wires/aerials. :)
