Any advice? Workstation for Motion graphics, Video Editing, 3ds MAX

Hi,

I am looking to build a powerful workstation to be used for designing motion graphics, video editing and a lot of architectural related stuff (CAD Drawings, 3ds MAX work, etc).
I am looking for a stable system, that would be "future proofed" as much as it's possible

Any feedback on what is too much or too little would be really appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time!

I don't think you will see any benefit from the Motherboard, you could save some money there and get the 780Ti. The triple heatpipe cooler is more effective than the standard one, although you aren't overclocking I take it you will be doing intensive tasks so a better air cooler might be wise.

3tb Caviar Black and Triple copper heatpipe :)
Not sure if the 32gb is necessary although im not to sure when it comes to all that 3D work. Other than that it looks good

I could suggest that you upgrade the PSU just for future purposes, and is it not cheaper to get a bigger SSD rather than 2?
Just my thoughts:)

EDIT: Cadwah beat me, damnit

Zeeqo's right though <3 The Caviar black HDD's are faster and will be more responsive, depends how fast you need access to the data I suppose, it might not be necessary. A larger PSU will allow for any future upgrades, I mentioned the 780Ti but there is also the option of the 6GB 780, you may benefit from the extra VRAM.

I did see in another thread that the 6gb TITAN BLACK is more towards a workstation graphics card for CAD work, you can have a look at buying that instead although you may want to google how good it is for that kind of stuff

My budget is around £1500, so the Titan is out of the question.

Thanks for your time on this!

edit - What MoBo would you consider?
