Hi all
I'm looking to buy a new machine in the next week or two, this is what I'm coming back to after playing around. As per the popup I'm throwing it on here to see if there are any obvious issues that I'm missing.
I'll be installing Linux on it and adding in a couple current SSDs I have and 2 existing Nvidia1080 cards that I already have, not in SLI, 1 card dedicated to the Linux install and the other set for passthrough to various VMs I run.
Usage will be general daily stuff, some video editing, VMs, compiling various code, gaming at 1080p (existing monitor setup is all 1080 which I'm happy with, when they're upgraded so will at least one of the graphics cards).
Only real concerns are:
Is the cooling enough? additional case fans needed...better cpu cooler etc.
Is the PSU up to snuff for 2 1080s considering only 1 will ever be running flat out at a time, some overkill would be good for a future upgrade to 3080/90 + a 1080.
Is the mobo good for the 2 cards? I'm liking the future upgrade potential and huge amount of USB ports.
