Are these decent specs I've chosen for VortexIII?

Considering I have chosen the 520 SERIES SSD hard drive, would I still need an SATA SSD Cache?

Looks great to me, nice spec! As for the SSD Cache, no you don't need that! Only thing you may want to consider upgrading is possibly the cpu? It costs £94 more I think and will be faster! You could possibly drop the screen to create funds. Oh and just to let you know, the sound card is external!

Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it. You say the sound card is external, so does that mean I would have to manually install it myself into the laptop. Or is it one of those quick plug-in ones?

I'm defintely keeping the screen whatever the cost as heard good things regarding the full matte. You say to upgrade the cpu but which one? The 2.60GHz 6mb or the 2.70ghz?

Think I'll leave out the soundcard then, doesn't seem necessary when I can always get a new one later on. Yes you helped lots thanks, I'm happy with my spec now and finally ready to order when they re-stock the gtx 680 next week
