Audio help

hiya, im very new to this and not sure if i have to buy speakers seperately or not, however when i plug in my headphones the audio does in fact work but when i unplug them, no sound comes out, not sure if its supposed to. but the volume is up and spotify is playing but just no sound out the realtek audio.

Is this a PCSpecialist system? Can you post your full specs from the order page?

Yes, you need speakers if you want sound without headphones.

The PC does not have built-in speakers (other than the little beeper for POST codes), so you will need either:

1. Headphones (which you already have)
2. Speakers (USB or 3.5mm jacks)
3. Monitor with built-in speakers (even if it has them, they’re usually terrible quality)

If you’re after #2, then let us know your budget and I’m sure we can come up with some suggestions, for example I’m using Creative Pebble V3 which cost £30 in 2020.

thankyou so much, yes i am looking for just some good simple speakers, easy to manage ahah! my budget is max £40 i think, so those speakers are perfect!
