Hello

I ordered my spec on Wednesday (2nd feb) order no 377722 and i checked my account today and it still says 'awaiting card payment' I'm just checking to see whether this is normal, I understand you're all busy with the sandy bridge issue, I just want to be assured that that my order has actually gone through properly since it my first time buying from you. i probably shouldn't be asking this here ( if so I apologise).

Cheers

Liam

Hi Liam, looks like something went wrong with the payment somewhere, did you get an email from us? checked your spam filter?

I would recommend giving us a shout on 0844 499 4000.

I have checked your order.

You made two attempts to pay, but both failed as the card used was not registed in the UK or Ireland. For security purposes we do not accept other foreign registered cards.

As Gorman suggested you can contact our Call Centre, or use another card or payment method to pay for your order.

that's odd as the card i ordered with was a northern rock visa debit card, however when i placed the order I did not get transferred to a confirmation screen I just got a blank white screen, when I refreshed I was taken to the user login screen

There was obviously an issue with the information input, because SagePay logged it as a foreign card. As a regular internet user, I would never refresh a payment screen. The processes all have to happen correctly for the payment/order to be successful.

If you try and make payment again, be very careful you enter the card type and number correctly. With a bit of luck it will work this time, but if it doesn't, phone our Call Centre guys tomorrow and they may be able to take the payment over the phone.

Good luck

Yeah I rang you guys up and spoke to Darren I believe who was very helpful, going to ring the bank tomorrow to find out whats up with this card, as for the refreshing of the screen I know I really should have my backside kicked considering i'm studying data security in information systems as part of my degree, moment of madness perhaps! :/

thanks for the help :)

To be honest, I'm not sure its a problem with your card. More likely to be a fat finger or a miscalculation by SagePay.
