Basic usage laptop

Greetings PC specs !

My friend needs a new laptop for a basic usage. It includes browsing internet, downloading, watching movies and listening to music. Budget is limited and could stretch a bit more than this one.

Nice, well balanced laptop you have put together there. However, the Genesis II laptop has now sold out and a replacement is not due in for a few weeks. The reason being the new Huron River/Sandy Bridge laptops will be replacing this - they are more powerful for a similar price.

Early Feb yeah - different models are due in at different times, some not till the end of Feb, others are likely to be in by the 2nd or 3rd week.

Are you able to give us some details on things like monitor size etc?Only reason im asking my heart is realy set on a sandybridge with 15inch screen laptop.

We have two 15.6" chassis coming in towards the end of Feb, one with 2GB GT520M graphics and full HD (1920 x 1080), the other with 1GB GT450M and HD (1366 x 768).

We also have one coming in a little earlier with Intel integrated graphics, which will be a little cheaper.

Hey, Pcspecs. I am still waiting for those Huron River/Sandy Bridge laptops. Any info on when they are going to be available ? Thanks in advance !

Latest estimations are 15th/17th March. We should have 3 or 4 chassis landing then.
