Battery life whilst gaming

Hi all

I've recently ordered a Proteus II laptop and want to ensure I treat it right!

When gaming, is it best to remove the battery and charge it from the wall? Or is it best to play from the battery til about 15% and then charge it back up?

just never remove the battery and keep it plugged in. the charging circuits in the laptop wont overcharge the battery and constantly using the battery will just 'use it up' also gaming on battery power alone will significantly reduce performance.

I just hear all sorts of things about it being better to drain the battery but good to hear from someone who knows what they're on about!

It used to be the case when batteries had a memory effect that you had to be a bit more careful. These days its not such an issue, just discharge it ever so often to keep things 'moving' so to speak but ive got machines that I have never run from battery for years and the batteries are still fine.
