Hi all.
As per the title, way out of date on current good specs for PCs. Been looking to configure a new desktop though, I7 based. Seen a new chip set based around Skylake (the I7-6700K with 8 MB cache), but also noted the I5-5930K (15Mb cache) as well. The latter costs more - is it worth it? The PC will be a high-end general use PC, used for gaming, home office, the lot. I'll be boosting the RAM significantly, but wanted the core CPU to be a good long-lasting option that I can build around, with later upgrades (better graphic cards etc.).
Anyone any thoughts?
