So it comes down to, is the vortex LE chasis and a 670m £150 better than the other spec?

spec on the vortex LE just changed to 670MX now so I think that one is what I would go for.

Yeah the new kepler 670mx should be a decent jump up above the 600m, although as a baseline the optimus is a great machine.

I'll hopefully be able to sell my macbook pro for around 800 so the upgrade to the vortexLE will only cost me £100 which I can deal with, the optimus would also be an upgrade over my macbook pro but i think the extra £100 is worth it for such a big performance boost now.
