Blu Ray

Just a quick question in regards to the blu ray drive, i want to know if I'll have to buy any software to play blu ray's or does it come with something pre installed??

The Blu-ray drives come with some software (normally Cyberlink or equivalent) to allow you to play Blu-raycontent.

Mine doesn't. Let me elaborate... I have a blu ray player and Cyberlink oem software on the super multiblue install disk. Software states it can't play protected content. Plug in a VGA or Dsub connector.

I have to prat around connecting the monitor to the ATI 6870 card with an HDMI lead and tweak the screen resolution. Can't believe blu-ray plaers are sold with inferior software.

I haven't had this problem using the software provided with the drive. Yours might be an isolated case - can you give more details?
