Bluetooth speaker not connecting

I have Kitsound Hive speaker and it worked fine on my old laptop which is windows 10 and connects fine to my phone too but with my Octane II it doesn't want to know. It pairs fine and says connected in the bluetooth settings window then after 10 seconds changes to paired. If I go into speaker properties it doesn't show up at all as anything even if I set it to show disabled and disconnected devices it doesn't show up.

All drivers are up to date and I can't see anything conflicting with it either. Anyone know what I can try doing?

Blutooth in windows 10 is flaky because of driver support. When you say you've got the latest drivers, where from? Were they specifically labelled win 10 drivers or are you using win 8.1 versions?

Installed all the drivers from pc specialist and I assume it's an intel driver and got the driver from intel for windows 10. It worked fine on my old laptop running windows 10.
