Hey.

I have asked for sales advice on these forums before but never technical so I'm hoping to get someone help regarding the Bluetooth on a laptop I purchased from here last year. :)

My sony wh-1000xm4 disconnect from the laptop every 15-20 minutes and the only thing I can do to resolve it is to turn the headphones on and off which isn't ideal.

A Google search tells me this is common and the issue lies within the Bluetooth device - mine is Intel (R) Wireless Bluetooth? Uh, tech talk. :D

The advice was to buy a dongle so for the sake of a couple of quid, I decided to buy the TP-Link UB400

Anyway.. I can only get this to work if the Intel Wireless Bluetooth is turned OFF completely - as in, the driver disabled.

Am I right to assume you cannot run BOTH together?

Any help appreciated. They are a £300 set of headphones so would like to find a solution.

You shouldn't need to buy any additional stuff, the idea is to fix what isn't working ;)

Can you post your full specs from the order page? It's likely just a driver that needs updating.

Haha, good answer. It was only a couple of £ so no huge loss - but yeah if you could lend some advice on how to get the current Bluetooth working so the connection to my headphones doesn't drop them that will be hugely appreciated.

OK - can you go into Device manager and let us know if you have any items with small yellow triangles on it (basically where drivers might be missing/not installed properly) and also if you have anything listed under Other Devices. Screen print it if easier.
