Brand new Optimus V - Audio and video problems

After receiving my first PC Specialist computer I was very surprised with the quality and power of the laptop. I can easily run games like Skyrim and Need For Speed Most Wanted on pretty high settings, I can multi-task with memory demanding programs and I can complete any uni work with ease.

However, the two things my laptop seems incapable of doing is play music or video without glitchy sounds and stutters. I've updated all drivers from Clevo's webpage with still no avail. It happens on Youtube, iTunes, you name it and it's starting to get intolerable. My old laptop is leagues behind this Optimus V in terms of spec yet it still manages to play music/video fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

UPDATE:

To anyone with the same problem, updating LAN, WLAN, Intel VGA and Bluetooth drivers from Clevo's webpage seem to have solved the issue. Not sure how or why but there you go!

Could be as some updates can take a few restarts and work in a chain, so it can be a few restarts before things really work properly. I updated a previous Toshiba laptop's CPU and GPU in the past and it took 6 restarts for the drivers to install, update, stabilize. I hope everything continues to work great
