Broadband in another room

My PCS Computer is in my office at one end of our large house, in the lounge at the other end I want to install a new Smart TV with broadband connection. What is the best and most foolproof way to do that?
Have been looking at the BT Homeplug Hotspot 500 Kit, does these work well? Anybody here tried one...

Have in the best tried a cheaper Home Plug and a Soluise, neither worked properly.

The best and most reliable way is to run an ethernet cable from your router to the Smart TV,if you're not sure how to install the cable maybe you know an electrician or handyman who could help you out.
