Budget gaming pc , your opinions please :)

Here we go folks, I have a Nvidia GTX285 1GB card to pop into this system, hence no graphics card in this build, but obviously want the best bang for buck I can get for sub £600. Just once concern, do I need a 6 core processor or should I drop to a quad core ( AMD 4100 maybe ?) Mostly playing WOW and a few other MMOs, along with anything else that takes my fancy. I realise newer titles will only play at mid range resolutions, but am more interested in good steady frame rates than really high detail visuals. Maybe upgrade to a better graphics card at a later date.

SO, bearing in mind I'm putting GTX 285 - 1GB card in this system, heres the rest of the spec:-

I've tweaked your config a little, and it's just over budget.
As you can see, there is an SSD. Amazing performance compared to standard HDD.
FX-6100 upgraded to FX-6300. I have the 6300 myself, and only because I read all over the internet first. 6100 was my first choice but after seeing the 6300 was quite a performance increase, my mind was made up.

For your budget I would consider the FX-6300, I don't need an SSD is essential. To fully benefit from an SSD you also need a motherboard that supports SATA 6gb/s. The corsair cooler will allow you to overclock the cpu.
