Hi,

Recently bought a PC from Pcspecialist myself and was impressed with the service and the build so recommend them to a friend who has now came back with the following build.

Could you please let me know if there is anything you would recommend changing from the following:

Hi there, the main thing here is the 3070 is massive overkill for 1080p. A 3060 will still give amazing percormance. Your friend has a huge budget considering they're at 1080, and the machine below would be an absolute beast. Alternatively, there is comfortably the budget to get a 1440p build and a monitor if they were happy to swap monitors.

The 220T is quite small so could limit future upgradability with large GPU's down the road. I've gone for the TD500 mesh but the Corsair 5000X is even bigger than this. The 5800X is a top of the line gaming CPU but only needs the TUF X570 mobo to pair. The RGB RAM is very tall so can cause clearance issues with top mounted AIO's. As noted, 3060 will give top of the like 1080p performance. For storage, I've adjusted it a bit. There's a super fast Gen 4 500GB M.2 SSD for windows and programs, then a 1TB SSD for games and a 2TB HDD for general files. If you wanted more space for games the 2TB Corsair SSD is about £100 more. The RMX 850PSU is a higher quality unit than the RM and will allow comfortably for future upgrades. If it fits in the budget, the H115i is really the cooler to have for the 5800X. And the Silver warranty is well worth the fiver. And this is still £330 or so from the top of the budget.
