Can Someone Explain To Me How Corsair Link Works? (it's not working)

Basically I have a H80i and it seems as though Corsair Link has stopped working, it can't see the H80i at all.

I have no idea how any of this works, I've tried reinstalling the software, changing the USB connector and updating firmware.

After hours of internet searches I've found no useful fix, even Corsair themselves are very vague on the subject.

I'm so confused that I don't even know what the right question is to ask...

Can someone please help explain the workings of Corsair Link, any viable fixes for it or alternatives to it?

Simply put, just overwhelm me with useful information so I can at least feel less in the dark about it.

You can check the manual online. If it doesn't work properly trying reinstalling the software.

Thanks for your reply, tried all that though... I've got it working by connecting the USB to the rear of my system, again I can only find very vague results as to why this works.

From what i've heard corsair link isnt very reliable and only works when it wants to. Not very helpful reply I'm afraid.

You could try giving PCS a bell?
