Cannot install Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64-based Systems (KB5006670)

Hi Guys,

i have been trying to install the above update for a few days now and every time is states that the update could not be installed. The PC restarts and look as though the update has finished but then turns back on and says unable to install the update. Has anyone had this issue?

Cheers Martin! I have read something similar on Reddit. I’m assuming it will be fine if I leave that update for now until they fix it? I can’t install it anyway

Just an update on this. There have been several cumulative updates since the one mentioned in this post which I still haven’t been able to update. Updates goes up to 7% then stops, restarts and states undoing changes as update couldn’t complete.

I decided to clean install windows and this has sorted it. Thanks to you lot for suggesting installing all games and software on D: for example, this made the process so much easier.
