Cannot Upgrade my existing PC on line?

I would like to upgrade my graphics cards for my existing PC Specialist PC...Order #417530..

When going through the Online Upgrade, and choosing two new graphics cards (I have currently..x2 GTX580...Wish to Upgrade to x2 GTX780) then I click "Proceed" I have this box with an X come up, and saying :

We've checked your specification for compatibility. Please see our suggestions below:

Unfortunately the case you have selected does not support DVD/Blu-ray drives. Please remove the DVD/Blu-ray drives from your configuration or select a different case.


I have this PC sitting right here with me..Also it's in the very case that I had with my order 417530( COOLERMASTER CM STORM SNIPER - NEXT GEN GAMING CASE :wacko: ) I have noticed that in the lists of my PC, It does not show my case that I have (could this be the problem?) I also know that the GTX780 "IS" Compatible with my system:wacko: So why can I not upgrade my system's graphics cards online??

Must be a bug with the upgrade feature. If PCS don't spot this thread give them a call, they'd appreciate knowing about it and will get it fixed for you.

OMG people its happened! I actually know something!

I too have a Sniper. Unfortunately PCS no longer stock our awesome case. This has meant to that the upgrade service cannot reconcile what you are trying to add with the dimensions of the case.

Boozad was correct in that you will have to call them, because that's the advice PCS gave me directly when I asked about it...last year (and still havent actually bothered to do it...Online service - do it in a few minutes; Phone em up - hurrumph, effort!)

The DVD drive error message was apparently just a sort of reaction of the system to not really understanding what you were asking it to do (i.e. no case there).

Haha! You did well DED the Sniper case imo is awesome, don't know why PCS stopped stocking it Yes, I did kind of know it could be something to do with the case, as it's not showing up in the list of specs...Funny though, the sniper case does show up when you go to My Account>my orders>show. The case is first on the list?
But anyway, will give them a call tomorrow, and put my order for x2 GTX708's, which by the way, are the cheapest "Anywhere" @£511 including VAT, WHAT? Well done PCS

I'm not even going to moan that it wasn't fixed when I asked, because I noticed last night that this was replied to at 00:29!!!

I thought my reply was late (as in made during out of work hours when I could have better things to do...as opposed to now, when I clearly don't )

I did have a little hick-up fitting them though..I must have seated them wrong But removal and replacing sorted that out Project CARS never looked so good...Wow!!

I can remember when graphics cards came with an Sli Bridge connector in the box...None here though?
