Can't decide between 2 specs

Hello, after a month or so of looking I've decided to extend my original budget a little bit and shell out for a Recoil II as the lightweight frame and thinner design is actually worth paying out for in my opinion, compared to some of the cheaper but bulkier shells.

Anyway, it's all come down to two specs, one is the review build by Kit Guru for £1148 and one is my own build for £1062. I will post both below.

I don't play top end graphic intensive games which I why I did my own build as I don't think I need the extra power, but before I press the order button, is there anyone who thinks I'd be making a huge mistake not ordering the Kit Guru spec for the extra £90? Bare in mind I don't need a TB of storage because I have an external HDD, and I would prefer a really strong SSD to run windows from.

Cheers in advane for your help.

The 'Kitguru' configuration has a vastly more powerful GPU and double the RAM (also dual channel) for £90 more. In terms of bang for buck and being more futureproof, it wins by a country mile.

Note that you can't upgrade a laptop GPU, so you're stuck with what you buy at the outset. The only way to get a new GPU is to buy a new laptop. So the longer your GPU lasts you before its performance is insufficient for your future gaming needs, the better.

Both the WD Black SSD and the Intel 760p are more than fine for having the OS on.

Thank you kindly for your quick reply, I see what you're saying about the GPU. How will this affect the weight, if at all?

Almost no impact. It'll have an extra stick of RAM which will be a few grams. I saw a Corsair datasheet saying 8 grams for 1 stick of SODIMM...

That kind of difference. :)
