Can't install Windows 7 on Defiance Series: 14"

I've been trying to install Windows 7 for 2 days but to no avail. The laptop has only USB 3.0 ports and also has no CD drive. I've tried everything from injecting USB 3 drivers (a few different versions) into the Windows installation files to swapping ports. There's no legacy support in the BIOS or any options to change the USB version to USB 2.0. I've also ran through this thread - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/archive/index.php/t-47444.html numerous times. I've also tried using a USB 2.0 stick but no luck.

How can I get Windows 7 loaded onto this laptop?

Windows 7 isn't supported natively by skylake chipsets. There are workarounds but it's a pain in the neck.

You can try this from asrock, it may be locked to their hardware though.

It literally just started working. I reinjected the USB drivers which I downloaded from pcspecialists download section and it worked! Crazy because I tried slipstreaming them multiple times lol. Happy days I guess.

Ah, well done. Sometimes, the usb ports will stop working once you're into windows, just be aware that may happen, google for workaround.
