Can't post photo's

I'm trying to create a thread showing photos of my new PC but when I try to upload them I just get the little red exclamation mark next to the image. It's saved on my PC, it's in .jpg format and isn't a huge file size so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong?
Can someone please advise.

I have this problem too. I just upload them elsewhere and use the

code.

Ah OK. Sorry for being naïve, but I've not done that before. How would I do this?

It's not naive mate. There are plent of photo hosting sites such as Photobucket, Imgur or Flickr, you can open a free account with any of those and upload your photos to them. They then give you the required UBB code to post photos in here.
