case fan connecting to power supply?

Hi guys

Is it safe to connect case fans to power supply and do they have the same effect as connecting them to a motherboard?

Not to sure if u are ment to Dyno but i do got a spliter on mine as well 2 fans coming of it 1 is for front fan and 1 on side pannel

You can connect them directly to the PSU, the only down side to this is the fans are on full blast all the time. When connected to the motherboard they can be kept spinning slowly to keep noise down when you don't need peak cooling. You can buy a fan controller that will do the same job if you find the noise too much.
