Case front-fan making continuous clicking sound

Hi PCS,

I bought a PC off you guys last summer. Been smooth sailing ever since.
However, this morning I've booted up the PC to hear a continuos clicking sound coming from the front of the PC. I've isolated the sound and its coming from the case front-fan. It starts after about 30 seconds from booting and stays clicking until shutdown. Its pretty loud, distracting and doesn't sound healthy. Specs below.

What could cause this? Is there anyway to quickly fix this or will the fan unit need switching out? Cheers!

It's possible it's a failed bearing on the fan, but just take the front panel off and make sure a wire or dust isn't causing an obstruction and make sure it's mounted securely.

If that's all the case and the clicking persists I'd get in touch with PCS, they should be able to send you a new fan easy enough to swap it out with .

Hi guys, thanks for the replies!

The clicking seems to have subsided for now. I took the front panel off and gave the fan a clean and checked to be sure there was nothing blocking it. It seems to come and go randomly (which is a little annoying as I'd rather be able to ID the issue)

If it returns, or degrades further, I'll contact PCS and, like steaky360 says, see if I can get a new one sent out. A case fan is an easily enough thing to switch out at home!
