Flatmate is looking for a new mouse, with nice features for under forty quid. It can't be the Logitech g400 as I have one and he's looking for some one-up-manship. Any suggestions?

Logitech g9x - great mouse used it yesterday around a friends, custom buttons for changing dpi settings, very comftable and responsive - last time I looked it was around £35-40 might have gone up or down by now.
outer than that you have the razer death adder 2013 edition
and if it cant be the g400 - why not the g500 :p - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-91...&qid=1369778285&sr=1-12&keywords=gaming+mouse
or maybe the rat 3 - http://www.amazon.co.uk/MCB4370300B...&qid=1369778350&sr=1-13&keywords=gaming+mouse
or ROCCAT kova+ http://www.amazon.co.uk/ROCCAT-Kova...&qid=1369778350&sr=1-25&keywords=gaming+mouse
Edit - just looked at some of the prices and it would appear the mouse has gone up in price - you can however get a mw3 branded one from amazon for £44 - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Ca...8&qid=1369778120&sr=1-2&keywords=logitech+g9x

Cheers for this man. Looking into mice has convinced me to pick one up for myself, and I found a good deal on one of these

I might pick up a gaming mouse, I've always been content with my three-button bog standard Microsoft micro mouse and it still suits my needs, but why not upgrade? Just need to find one I like the look of.
