Do you recommend I add anything? I need it for light gaming and studies. Now I have a few questions:

Are all these parts in stock? If I order tommorow is it likely I'll get it before the end of next week?

And I have a concern about fan noise.. how loud/quiet are these laptops?

The Laptops are generally quiet but after extensive use the fan speeds may increase slightly to help cool the components inside. Even when this occurs the noise levels are no more than you'd expect from any other Laptop.

Hi - I ordered mine on Friday and it has just been dispatched. Of course I could just be lucky, and I wouldn't want to set any unrealistic expectations, but that's my situation

I have ordered a similar spec to you, though with 8gb ram and the blu ray writer. If you already have Windows, I would recommend taking windows off your spec and adding more ram (or whatever you can get for the value of the removal of windows from the spec).

This is my spec, which I personally think is incredible value! Should arrive hopefully tomorrow and I will be posting impressions at the weekend (or should be).

Well, the laptop arrived today.

First impressions are it's GREAT. Though bare in mind this is my first laptop I've been a desktop user for years. I'm not going to go in depth right now, but suffice to say it's very fast!

I'd like to say that the promo pictures of this laptop do it NO justice at all, I was apprehensive about it's looks but in the flesh it's actually very nice imo.

I'll try and get some pictures up but it'll have to wait until next week, my parents have gone on holiday with my camera.
