Hi Folks,

Just got this laptop for one of my granddaughters, to use mainly for her degree course. Do you think it will be ok, and is it simple to have it save documents, videos, pics etc etc, to the store drive by default? You can obviously tell I'm not an expert, but soon learn.

You could consider 1x8gb RAM. 2x4gb could notionally give more performance but probably not that is even perceptible for office uses. Whereas 1x8gb leaves the 2nd slot free in case she needs 16gb down the line.

If she intends to do any gaming, or if her work/hobby benefits from a dedicated graphics card (e.g. video editing with certain software) then other specs would be worth looking at.
