Do they ever update their graphic drivers?

They seem bloody useless. Can't even download their drivers as the connection times out. What a useless company. Wish I had of got a desktop to be honest, never had this stupid problem.

Updated to a non-clevo driver and games I was having fps problems with drastically improved. Downside was my laptop became completely unstable when booting up/shutting down.

Frustrating to know there is a better driver for my card out there (6990m) but I cant use them.

Im sure the 6990M drivers on the AMD site would be compatible with your machine. I know that the 580M can use any of the drivers from nVidia site.

Did you use driver sweeper when updating your drivers? if not then give it a go.

To be honest with you the driver support for ATI cards isn't great to begin with. You will find that their devices are incredibly picky.

You will hear this fairly often I'm sure, and it's far from a solution, but there is not a lot of headspace when it comes to drivers and OEMs.
