Clone your hdd to your new SSD

Hey guys, been wondering how can i copy/paste (clone) my current hdd to my new SSD.
Is there any program for this, any tutorial or something ?

will this affect the transfer rate since its on ntfs and not on ahci mode ?

i dont follow,

NTFS is a file structure.
AHCI is a host controller interface which allows the more advanced features of SATA.

I would have a spare drive and clone to that, then to the SSD so you have a back-up.

My wd1002faex still shows as IDE in bios lol even after that windows reinstall (ahci turned on in bios)
