COD: Ghosts pc requireements

Well... if that's the PC you have in your signature then yeah, you'll be able to play Ghosts easily. With every setting maxed out and at the highest resolution too, no doubt.

They lied about its true system requirements to make it look like the graphics were next-gen. Even going as far as not letting people play it if their machine had less than 6GB RAM. Literally, if you had less than 6GB RAM and you tried to launch the game on STEAM it wouldn't let you, until you changed the .txt file of course. In reality, 2GB of RAM and any graphics card 4-years old or less will run CoD: Ghosts quite handily with most of the settings on high and AA and other frills low or off.

yes ofcourse,

but why would you want to play ghosts?

I played the game at a mates house on friday on the XboxOne and loved it!

Graphics are seriously unbelievable on full 1080p.

I don't really care what people think about the COD Ghosts. It's a great game in my opinion.

Ahhh well done for standing out, Yes the singleplayer on ghosts can look incredible at times but the multiplayer isn't too great and it isn't really too great on PC either :/ surprise surprise infinity ward

But compared to Battlefield 4? Which on PC at least looks far superior, though I've heard it looks pretty poor on consoles (last gen).

The main reason COD gets such a hard time from PC gamers is because it's still using the same game and graphics engine that dates well back into the last decade. It's essentially still a DX9 game with some DX11 features thrown in on top, and some artificial system requirements. It's also pretty poorly optimised as a result, which just isn't good enough for an AAA title as far as most PC gamers are concerned.

I suppose graphically it has improved over the years but it's not been by much (even COD4 looks really good at 1080p compared to the console version) and it's showing its age now.

Still, if you enjoy it then it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks :D and if you liked the graphics on the Xbone I'm sure they'll be slightly better still on PC - the Xbone version is upscaled from 720p to 1080p. :)
