cod4 error

Hey, finally got my new Desktop and i love it! the problem is, i installed cod4 and when i try to launch multiplayer am getting error iw3mp.exe is not responding....
any solutions ?

This could be quite a lot of things, any more info you could give?

Error code? logs?

wait am trying to install it again on an external disk without patches

Yes, teh fix is incredibly easy, plug in a mic, and that will fix it. Apparently its primarily a Realtek driver bug, ive tried and tried to fix it but its just not happening, on anby of my computers, so I just plug a mic in like they say on google and its always worked since

true! lol i used that thing in control panel/sound stereo mix enable

Yeah thats the other fix but for most people they dont have that option to tick
