I've decided to stick with an AIO PC for my new purchase (for a variety of reasons).
I know the proposed new PC will be better/faster than what I have now, but I would like to get some confidence regarding how much better an experience and performance I can expect. I don't do gaming but I do use Lightroom and Photoshop heavily and their performance has got much worse over the last year.
Current AIO:
27" 1920x1080 60Hz
Intel i7-4790S 3.2 GHz
16Gb RAM DDR3 1600 MHz
Intel HD 4600
2 Tb HDD
Proposed new AIO:
27" Vanguard II 1920x1080 144Hz
Intel i7-9700 3.0 GHz 12 Mb Cache
32Gb Corsair 2400 MHz DDR4
4Gb Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 - HDMI
2Tb HDD (for data, documents and photos)
256Gb Intel 760p M.2 NVME PCLE SSD (for OS and programs)
I realise there's a whole host of selections possible, but the proposed spec is at the very top of my budget . . . . I just really want to know whether I can definitely expect a massive improvement compared to what I have now (if that makes sense!).
