Hello guys, i am back again after a year i bought my monster from here and the last week my desktop died;[

While i was writing down my proposal title and i was about to sent it to my supervisor, i heard a voice from my desktop and the screen went black. I tried to shut it down but nothing so i turned it off from the cpu. I plugged off all the wires and i put it on the table. Water was on the floor and i was really scared. I opened the case and i saw coolit eco to seeping water, motherboard, ram, graphic card were full of water;(((

After a few minutes i couldnt realise what happened. I was shocked. I remembered i could ARM and thats what i did. My desktop now arrived and is on good hands, but the question remains.

How the hell that happened?

;/

There is always an inherent risk that a Water Cooler can leak. Its rare, unlikely and won't happen to most people, but it can happen.

Hopefully PCS can sort it and you'll be back with it asap :D

Bit odd.

My Coolit ALC died 3 weeks ago aswell. Bad times.

Hopefully you'll get it fixed pretty soon.

They've had mine 2 weeks and haven't even looked at it yet.

I know watercooling is rather safe nowadays, and I know it cools very well. But hey-ho introducing water to ££££ worth of electronic equipment is really like asking for problems ^^

No matter how well watercooling can be done.. it's still liquid next to your expensive components - the way I see it, unless you're going for some proper OC, I'm not sure it's really worth it...

Besides that, fingers crossed mate, I'm sure you get your PC sorted in no time...

i know, nothing is in stock as i know.

Not so much that. They attempt to claim from CoolIT first who just seem to be ignoring claims at the moment.

Basically I have the exact same problem as you with mines leaking on the 13th July and I'm still waiting to get my PC back up and running to it's full spec with only the graphics card being the component damaged.
