Computer will not boot

Hi guys, I've had my PC maybe a month or so now without problems, but today it has suddenly decided it doesn't want to boot!

It worked fine last night, and shut down normally, but when switching it on this morning it flashed up saying Overclock failed then rebooted. The OC settings are set to Profile 1 in my BIOS so I changed it to boot recommended settings to see if that would work, it gets to the Windows loading page with the swirling logo before blue screening and rebooting itself, the main issue being it blue screens for less than a second so I can't even see what it's complaining about!

I've tried running Windows startup repair as it suggested, which found nothing it could fix automatically, I changed the BIOS settings back to Profile 1 and while it no longer says Overclock failed, it still blue screens at the exact same point.

Has anyone got any ideas what could have happened in the 9 or so hours it was completely off, untouched and unchanged? It never makes it past the Windows loading page as mentioned above, and it's really annoying that I can't see what error message it's popping up with because it's not on the screen more than half a second! Not helpful.

Have you tired booting up in [SAFE] mode?
If i remember correctly you press F8 on boot up to get to the menu to select safe mode.

Might also be worth considering trying the 'System Restore' or 'Start the PC from Last Known Good Configuration' via constantly pressing F8 at the start of you turning the PC on.
This might at least get the PC to boot then you can try to figure out further what caused the crash.

If you can start in safemode,To be able to read the error message,
type SYSDM.CPL in the Start Search box.
Click the "Advanced" tab and click the "Settings" button under "Startup and Recovery"
Uncheck the option Automatically Restart.

Ok it wouldn't let me boot the computer in safe mode, it would load a ton of stuff then reboot itself and hit the same errors, luckily in the menu that had boot in safe mode in it, it also had disable automatic reboot on system crash which I did and got the following error:

Check for viruses, remove newly installed hard drive, check hard drive configured and terminated.
Run CHKDSK /F to check corrupt drives.

STOP 0x0000007B
0xFFFFF880009A97E8, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000

I'd had enough by this point and reformatted the entire thing, seems to work ok now but does anyone know what the error above is and how I can make sure it doesn't happen again?

with my pcs pc i either reinstall the o/c profile in the bios or for 100% stability I use the default settings in the bios,my o/c always failed every few weeks, where the default settings never fail

tap delete/bios/tools/oc settings then select either the saved o/c profile or reset to default save then restart

I suppose I could turn off the OC for stability if I really need to, but seems a waste considering I paid for the OC. So far it's been ok, but if it does happen again I'll have to consider it, can't reformat every time, luckily I keep regular back ups.
