Hi all,
I finally got my octane II laptop today impressed with it so far but still getting everything set up. I was reading through the manual and I went to access control center with Fn + ESC key and nothing happened. There is also no icon in task bar notification tray bit and no mention of it in the start menu either. Only thing I can think of is that I need to install the drivers with the CD that came with it except it has no CD drive and I have no external disk drive either.
Another issue is that the screen doesn't look right it's either got too much contrast or not enough and it looks on the warm side too. I've tried adjusting the settings with Nvidia control panel but just can't get it looking right. Though this might just be me being used to my old laptops screen. Also although I'm at native 1080p resolution, the cursor and overall UI is small. I figured out that my old laptop wasn't actually a FHD screen and only went to 720p which is why it looks bigger. Is there anyway to adjust the size? I adjusted the settings in control panel but 150% is far too big guess I can get used to it if not. Other than that it works fine just need some tips on colour calibration and how to get the control center software. Could I install the drivers from device manager?
