Hey guys, i was playing BF3 early on my new PC Specialist pc but my mouse seems to have a mind of its own and jumps to either side of the enemys head when i try to snipe, making me useless!

I want a decent preferably wireless mouse for under £30 if you could all be so kind as to light the way.

I also seen an xbox controller for pc would that be of any use? :p

It probably isnt the mat as it is just a bog standard microsoft mouse. I am still struggling with keyboard gaming atm so i would most likely benefit from some extra buttons on the mouse :p

I have always played the ps3, but i couldnt resist getting a good pc haha!

I'd always go for wired instead of wireless, but thats me,

if you do fancy a wired mouse, look at a razer deathadder, i've had one for years and its never let me down. (not does need a hard surface though)

just something that would be worth a try (as i had a problem where the mouse was pretty much unusable)

change the USB port

mine was going crazy and i decided to change the port and it was fine (i found that out after i got a new mouse mat :p)

My Logitech MX518 seemed like it was screwing up, only a year and a half old and I was struggling to heal people on RIFT because it wouldnt respond properly, thought it couldn't possibly be my mousemat because it was clean, turns out it was.

I also recommend a wired as opposed to wireless, you will only get annoyed at changing or charging batteries all the time, plus wired are more responsive and last longer.

If you can find a Cyborg RAT for around the price you're looking at i'd recommend it, im currently using the RAT 9 and its a damn fine piece of kit, but it also has a price tag to go with also at 90ish quid. but it is the most upto date one, you could probably pick up a 7 or 5 for cheaper, 5 is wired and 7 is wireless iirc, the wireless come with 2 power blocks and a charging station for you block you're not using, and is very customizable, from where the thump rest is positioned to what pinkie and palm rest texture you prefer :p.
