Hi

I am just thinking to upgrade my CPU Cooling System.Just want to now if this is worth to get.Anyone using H60?At the moment i have SUPER QUIET 22dBA TRIPLE COPPER HEATPIPE INTEL CPU COOLER but i dont like how it looks like :) Maybe there is a better option for the sam price? H60 or H70?

Do you want a liquid cooler? or would be happy with a decent air cooler?

you could go for

- Noctua NH-D14 (obviously going to suggest this) :)
- Bequiet dark rock pro is pretty good,
- there's quite a few, check out this site - http://www.frostytech.com/

Thank You Tom i will post some pictures later.I dont have much space in my case so i am looking somthing small.I cant complain about my air cooler and temps.

A few things I would say mate,

- Nice GPU :)
- I dont think you will be able to a corsair cooler in, if you look at the top of the rear fan, its very very close to the top 200mm, therefore i don't think a radiator + fan would fit. You will have to get some close up pics and measurements to confirm.
- in that case, I'd go for a air cooler, may be a tad harder to install as the likely hood would be that you would have to remove the mobo to install the back plate to secure said air cooler. Saying that, you may have to do that for a liquid cooler, so be aware it may be required. Unless you have a massive CPU cutout on the case.

You are right Tom :) There is no much space between upper and side fans :/ This is what i have from the other side.



I dont think if i have to remove the mobo or i have to? :) Now i am worry and thinking to change case as well. :/ HAF 912 Plus is really small.
What do You suggest Tom :)

well, PCS have done a good job with the cables :)

if it was rig i'd

- get a few cable ties, and tie up the loose cables, make things look a little neater. Obviously this isn't essential but may help with airflow from the front fan :)
- its up to you if you want to change the case mate. I wont plant suggestions, hahah
- realistically there is nothing wrong with the PC, so you don't really have to upgrade anything. :)

Give me a sec, just gonna do some research :)

Have to remove hard drives holder because of huge gpu :) Also i added extra ssd.Thats why cables looks a little bit messy.I dont complain about temps.On idle i have like 25C and max 55C on full load.What about if i remove 200 mm fan and fit 120 mm?

well, if you removed the 200mm, to install one 120mm in the roof. I would get that would be fine mate.

It may be worth checking to see if you can
-squeeze the H100I in the roof?
-Or remove the rear and top fan, and whack in a H80I/h60Iin the rear slot, and a 120mm in the roof.

well, I would say something that looks nice, but as you don't have a window side panel, I guess that isnt important.

-If you want something Quiet, the Noctua NH D14 would be a good choice, easy to install, high performance and very quiet.
-You could go for something from BeQuiet, I think the dark rock pro 2 would look good with your the rig, Its solid black, so would match your GPU. (not sure of the installation though, it may be harder than the noctua, but you wont need to remove your mobo so thats a positive. Your looking about 60 quid for a high end air cooler. http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/be_quiet_dark_rock_pro_2_review,1.html have a read of that, see what you think. Would look the shiz in your case with matching Bequiet fans.
-You will need thermal paste and cleaner though, obviously quite important.
-I can't recall any other top of the range air coolers of the top of my head.

Tom i need something smaller than i have already :) Coolers like Noctua,BeQuiet looks big.I think they are even bigger than mine.My budget is 80£ not 60£ :p
Now i have huge brain storm in my head and i really dont know what to do :/ I know about paste and cleaner.I will use Arctic Silver witch is the best on the market i think.Thanks again for your time and sorry :)

yea they are big, but they will fit because i've seen a d14 in your case. :) up to you ofcourse.

lets look at pro's and cons.

- Air coolers
Pro's - Cheaper and quieter than liquid coolers. No risk of liquid/water damage to your PC. Noctua has good mounting system
Con's - The best are massive, can be heavy, some have crap mounting system - Coolermaster V6Gt for example.
Fit in your case? - Yes, without having to remove other case fans.

- Liquid coolers, Corsair H series,
Pro's - good performance, super easy to install, space saving, can be quiet when set to "quiet mode" But stock fans generally aint quiet,as higher RPM fans are required.
Con's - Always a risk of leaking/bursting, expensive
Fit in your case - Some models yes, But may require the removal of the 200mm top fan.

You could go for the H80I (thick rad, two fans), gonna give you good temps, but will definitely require removal of 200mm fan. OR the H60(Slim rad, one fan)

Its up to you mate, have a look on the net.

This is really good explanation :) Thank You again +rep is natural.Now i know i will go for a air cooler but i need to find one with really cool design and good performance.

Stick with the triple copper and just use the money to buy more games :)
